The new artwork debuted via the movie's official Twitter page on Wednesday evening (April 11).

Django Unchained is due to be released on Christmas Day and stars Jamie Foxx as former slave Django, who treks across America to free his wife.

Reportedly inspired by Sergio Corbucci's 1966 movie Django, the film will feature Kerry Washington as Django's wife Broomhilda, Inglourious Basterds star Christoph Waltz as dentist-turned-bounty hunter Dr King Schultz and Leonardo DiCaprio in the role of villainous plantation owner Calvin Candie.

Samuel L Jackson, Sacha Baron Cohen, Anthony LaPaglia, Don Johnson, Dennis Christopher, Kurt Russell and Lost actor MC Gainey are also tipped to appear in Django Unchained.
