Speaking to Digital Spy, Biggs admitted that he wanted his character Jim Levenstein to get caught in a more compromising situation than the apple pie tryst from 1999's American Pie.
"It was one of those things where earlier drafts of the script were missing the 'pie scene'," he said.
Co-star Thomas Ian Nicholas praised Biggs for being fearless in exposing himself: "I mean, he did screw a pie in the first one. It's only fitting in the fourth one that he would bare all."
Chris Klein quipped: "When you hang out with Jason Biggs enough, you tend to see his twig and berries an awful lot. You see that guy's sack and nuts an awful lot. So for him to throw it up there was not a huge surprise."
