'The Departed' arrives ahead of 'Chainsaw'

The Departed was the highest-grossing film at the US box office over the weekend, taking $27.0m in its first three days.
Starring Matt Damon and Leonardo DiCaprio, Martin Scorsese's thriller was inspired by Andrew Lau's Hong Kong classic Infernal Affairs. In second place was slasher prequel The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning, with earnings of $19.1m.
