Cosmopolis has released a new clip featuring Robert Pattinson and Sarah Gaden.
The bizarre scene sees the pair engage in an exchange in a diner, before two men brandishing dead rodents step up and chant "A spectre is haunting the world" repeatedly.
Cosmopolis, based on Don DeLillo's novel, is directed by Eastern Promises helmer David Cronenberg. Jay Baruchel, Juliette Binoche, Samantha Morton and Paul Giamatti will also star in the film.
Pattinson will portray financial "wunderkind" Eric Packer in the movie, which centres on an assassination plot resulting from his financial dealings.
Cronenberg previously praised Pattinson's performance in the film, calling the Twilight star "sensational" and "fantastic".
Cosmopolis will be shown at the Cannes Film Festival, which runs between May 16 and May 27.
