A new featurette video has been released by the makers of the upcoming movie The Amazing Spider-Man.
The highly-anticipated reboot stars Andrew Garfield as young Peter Parker uncovering his family's past and grappling with new powers after a radioactive spider bite.
Emma Stone, Michael Sheen, Sally Field and Rhys Ifans also star.
The new featurette has been posted via the website for Oscorp Industries, a fictional company which plays a heavy role in the plot of the movie.
In the video, Rhys Ifans talks about his character Dr Curt Conners, the villain of the movie.
Conners is an employee of Oscorp and an old friend of Peter Parker's parents, trying to use reptilian DNA to synthesise the regrowth process in gaining back his own lost arm, an experiment which goes horribly awry, resulting in The Lizard.
A sequel to the film is in development, with the writers of Star Trek tackling the script.
The Amazing Spider-Man is scheduled for release on July 3.
