Exclusive: 'The Dictator': Sacha Baron Cohen makes 9/11 Helicopter gag - video

By
Sacha Baron Cohen's The Dictator has released an extended video clip exclusively through Digital Spy.

In the 4-minute sequence, Cohen's latest comedy creation Admiral General Aladeen embarks on a reconnaissance mission onboard a New York tourism helicopter.

When discussion turns to Aladeen's favourite sports car - a Porsche 911 - the passengers on the helicopter begin to suspect he is plotting a terror attack.

Aladeen also discusses his successful film career in the sequence: "You don't win four Wadiyan Golden Globes for nothing.

"My performance in Aladeen Jones and the Temple of Doom was outstanding. Have you seen You've Got Mail Bomb?"

Cohen has undertaken the promotional tour for The Dictator in character as Aladeen. The Wadiyan tyrant was recently grilled by US broadcasting icon Larry King and made an appearance on Alan Carr: Chatty Man in the UK.

The Dictator opens in cinemas on May 16.
