The Twilight star's latest movie sees him play Eric Packer, a 28-year-old billionaire who experiences an eventful journey across New York when he sets out to get a haircut.
In the second clip, taken from later on in the movie, Pattinson's Packer comes under fire after emerging from his graffiti-covered white limousine.
The Cosmopolis video clips were released through the Cannes Film Festival website.
Pattinson recently recreated scenes from his Cosmopolis director David Cronenberg's early movies in a photoshoot for France's Premiere magazine.
Cosmopolis will premiere in competition at Cannes on May 25 and is due for release in the UK on June 15.
