Pitt lined up for 'State of Play' movie

Brad Pitt is being lined up for a film version of BBC drama State of Play.
The Ocean's Twelve actor will play journalist Cal McCaffrey in the story, which follows a team of reporters investigating the death of a political researcher.
Writer Paul Abbott told the Daily Record: "Someone handed me their phone and said, 'Somebody wants to talk to you'. I pick it up and it's Brad Pitt on the other end. I just said, 'Hi', I wasn't expecting a conversation."
