A trailer for Michel Gondry's The We And The I has been released.
The upcoming indie film tells the story of a group of high school graduates who ride the bus home one last time, and features a cast that includes Joe Mele, Meghan Murphy, Alex Barrios, Raymond Rios and Jonathan Scott Worrell.
The We And The I, written and directed by Gondry, will open the Directors' Fortnight section at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival on Thursday, May 17, which also marks its world premiere.
The 2012 Cannes Film Festival kicks off today and will wrap up on May 27.
Last year, Gondry served as the head of the short film and Cinéfondation jury at the Cannes Film Festival.
Gondry's previous films include The Green Hornet, Be Kind Rewind and the Oscar-nominated Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
