Maggie Gyllenhaal and Viola Davis are seen fighting for their children's rights in the debut Won't Back Down trailer.
The 20th Century Fox drama stars the pair as two mothers whose kids are being failed by the education system.
Based on a true story, the movie sees Gyllenhaal and Davis take on the failed public school system and institute a charter school for children in the neighborhood.
Oscar Isaac, Holly Hunter, Rosie Perez, Lance Reddick and Emily Alyn Lind will also appear in the Daniel Barnz-directed film.
Gyllenhaal will next be seen with Hugh Dancy in Hysteria.
Oscar-nominated Help star Davis is in line to appear in Ender's Game, Beautiful Children and a Barbara Jordan biopic.
Won't Back Down will debut on September 28.
