'The Grudge 2' sees off 'The Departed'

Takashi Shimizu's horror sequel stars Amber Tamblyn as the sister of Sarah Michelle Gellar's Karen as she tries to get to the bottom of the mysterious curse. The film took $22m in its first three days.
Down 31% on last week's takings was The Departed, Martin Scorsese's thriller based on Andrew Lau's Infernal Affairs, which earned $18.68m over its second weekend of release.
Entering the top ten were Robin Williams comedy Man of the Year, The Marine and One Night with the King.
