Last month, Warner Bros released a two-minute trailer to The Dark Knight Rises, the Batman sequel which will mark the end to the Christopher Nolan-helmed superhero franchise.
"Without getting into specifics, the key thing that makes the third film a great possibility for us is that we want to finish our story," Nolan has said of the film.
"And in viewing it as the finishing of a story rather than infinitely blowing up the balloon and expanding the story... unlike the comics, these things don't go on forever in film and viewing it as a story with an end is useful."
Anne Hathaway, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Gary Oldman, Michael Caine, Tom Hardy and Morgan Freeman also star.
The Dark Knight Rises opens in cinemas on July 20.
