The Harry Potter actor stars opposite Ashley Greene, Sebastian Stan, Julianna Guill and Luke Pasqualino in the horror project.
The film centres on a group of young scientists who set out to prove that all paranormal sightings are created by the human mind.
Felton joined the film's cast back in early 2010, when he revealed that the part was a "dream".
Referring to his Harry Potter role, he said: "Draco has an iconic look with his pale skin, blond hair and rather sharp dress. It's a completely flip side in [Apparition]. Expect not to recognise me.
"I can say that my hair is no longer blond for this. I'm probably going to get in trouble for saying that. No more blond hair for me, so I'm excited about that."
The Apparition is set to be released in cinemas on August 24.
