'Twilight' Kristen Stewart: 'Bella won't define me'

By
Kristen Stewart has suggested that the role of Bella Swan in The Twilight Saga will not define her career.

The original Twilight film proved to be Stewart's breakthrough performance, but the star told The Radio Times that she firmly believes she will have a respected career beyond the vampire series.

"I acknowledge that people will absolutely identify me with Bella forever and it's had a hand in giving me everything that I have, which is a lot," Stewart admitted.

The actress continued: "It's undeniable that a lot of people will know me for that. But whether, personally, that was the one that defined me? Probably not."

Stewart's boyfriend and co-star Robert Pattinson recently made similar comments by saying that he is ready to move on from Twilight.

"Playing the same part for a while, you just run out of ideas," Pattinson explained. "You feel kind of useless, you don't know what to do anymore.

"I'm not trying to get away from it. You're screwing yourself, you're saying you think your work is s**t if you try and get away from it."

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 opens in theatres worldwide on November 16.
