This Is Where I Leave You is an ensemble comedy that focuses on a group of brothers and sisters who are forced to interact with each other after a period of time apart, reports Deadline.

The four siblings come back home after their father dies, but are then trapped in the house for seven days, forcing several home truths to come to the surface.

It is based on a comic novel by Jonathan Tropper, who has also adapted the screenplay for the project.

Production is scheduled for early September, with Paula Weinstein and Jeff Levine of Spring Creek producing.

Jason Bateman will soon begin work on the Arrested Development reunion miniseries and film later this summer.

Shankman has just completed work on upcoming musical Rock of Ages, set for release on June 15.
