Django Unchained has released its debut trailer online.
Quentin Tarantino's first film since 2009's Inglourious Basterds sees Jamie Foxx play a freed slave who heads across the US to free his wife Broomhilda (Kerry Washington) from evil plantation owner Calvin Candie (Leonardo DiCaprio).
Christoph Waltz, who won a 'Best Supporting Actor' Oscar for Tarantino's Basterds, aids Django in the hunt as dentist-turned-bounty hunter Dr King Schultz.
The film's supporting cast features Tarantino regular Samuel L Jackson alongside James Remar, Don Johnson, Walton Goggins and Bruce Dern.
Django Unchained is due for release on December 25 in the US and January 18, 2013 in the UK.
