'Good Night and Good Luck' / Warners
Production Weekly reports that the film, due to start shooting in August 2007, is 'loosely based' on Admiral Stansfield Turner's novel Burn Before Reading: Presidents, CIA Directors and Secret Intelligence. From 1977 to 1981 the author served as director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).
Burn After Reading will follow 2000's O Brother, Where Art Thou? and 2003's Intolerable Cruelty as collaborations between Clooney and filmmakers Joel and Ethan Coen.
