Winslet tipped for Oscar in new film

The film is currently being shown at the 50th London Film Festival and is one of four films being released this autumn starring the actress.
Winslet plays the role of a young mother trapped in suburbia, who embarks on an affair with a young father whom she meets in a playground.
Despite the hype and critical acclaim already surrounding her performance, the Hollywood actress has refused to comment on her chances of winning the industry's most prestigious accolade.
In an interview with the BBC she remarked "I think it's destructive and pointless to worry about the success of a movie or worry about what people will say about it - or whether it gets Academy Award nominations."
In the past ten years, Kate Winslet has received four Oscar nominations, but is yet to take home Hollywood's top prize.
