The new Jackass film is to be the "last hurrah" for the group of extreme stunt performers.
Jackass: Number Two director Jeff Tremaine told reporters at Thursday's Australian premiere that: "This is it for Jackass as far as we're concerned... I'm not going to say never but right now we don't have a plan. This is our last hurrah as far as we know."
Jackass started life as a television show on MTV in 2000 and was created by Spike Jonze, Johnny Knoxville and Tremaine. A big screen production - Jackass: The Movie grossed over $60 million in the United States, twelve times its budget.
