The actress starred in The Devil Wears Prada, based on Lauren Weisberger's 2003 bestselling book, as mean fashion magazine editor Miranda Priestly.
Streep was nominated for a 'Best Actress' Oscar for the role.
When Access Hollywood asked if there will be a follow-up to the 2006 film, Streep answered: "Yeah…no, no, is there one? I've never heard about it.
She then added: "But, sure, I mean I'd have to lose the f**king weight, but I would do that, yeah."
Earlier this month, it was reported that Weisberger is currently working on a sequel to her bestselling novel released in 2003.
Revenge Wears Prada: The Devil Returns, set for a April 2013 release, will pick up eight years after Andrea 'Andy' Sachs quit her job as an assistant to Priestly to work as editor of a bridal publication.
