Michelle Pfeiffer: 'I'd play Catwoman again if I was asked'

By
Michelle Pfeiffer has revealed that she would like to play Catwoman again.

Pfeiffer famously donned a leather catsuit to play Selina Kyle in 1992's Batman Returns, a role which the actress said she'd love to revisit.

"[I'd do it] if they asked me," Pfeiffer told E! News, adding: "It's unlikely that they're going to ask me."

The actress went on to say that she is excited to see Anne Hathaway portray Catwoman in director Christopher Nolan's upcoming Dark Knight Rises.

"She looks fantastic. She looks great," Pfeiffer said of Hathaway.

Hathaway previously said that her version of Catwoman was inspired by Hollywood icon Hedy Lamarr.

"There's a shot of her in [the 1933 film] Ecstasy exhaling a cigarette and I took probably five breaths during her one exhale. So I started working on my breathing a lot," Hathaway commented last year.

The Dark Knight Rises arrives in cinemas on July 20.
