The iconic bear is seen staring out at the London skyline after becoming stranded at Paddington Station in the poster.
The CGI remake will be directed by Paul King, with a script from Hamish McColl.
It will be a modern-day retelling of the classic Michael Bond series of books, published between 1958 and 1979, and will draw inspiration from the entire series.
The original story followed the bear who gets adopted by a London family after they find him alone at Paddington Station.
