The Hellboy actor has joined Sarah Dumont and Malcolm McDowell in the film, built on a series of twelve shorts focusing on the republic of Georgia.
The project has been conceived by David Agiashvili and written by natives of Georgia, Deadline reports.
Perlman will play an American motorcyclist who rides through the city of Tbilisi with a woman named Freedom, played by Dumont.
McDowell's short will star him as an actor who forms a connection with the city after shooting a movie there.
Perlman is also known for his roles in City of Lost Children, Hellboy, and Drive.
The 62-year-old's FX series Sons of Anarchy was recently picked up for a sixth season.
