'Dead Man's Chest'
The birds will compete at Disney’s UK headquarters on November 16 for a role alongside Johnny Depp, Kiera Knightley and Orlando Bloom.
Whichever lucky parrot wins will also become the "spokesparrot" for the launch of the second Pirates movie, Dead Man’s Chest, on DVD.
Producers and parrot judges said the bird they are looking for will be well behaved, have good speaking skills and the ability to learn a script quickly.
Parrot expert Peter Bloom, who will be on the panel, said most parrots were able to talk if trained - particularly Amazon and African Grey species.
