Despite warnings from organisers of the event, photos have already emerged of hardcore fans that are queuing up days in advance to ensure that they get in the fan event.
Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, Peter Facinelli, Elizabeth Reaser, Kellan Lutz, Nikki Reed, Jackson Rathbone, Ashley Greene and Mackenzie Foy will be panelists at the movie franchise's final year at Comic-Con and new footage of the film is expected to also be released during the session.
The Breaking Dawn Part 2 panel is scheduled to take place at 12.45pm on Thursday (July 12) in Hall H at the San Diego Convention Centre.
Organisers sent out a tweet asking fans of the vampire movies to not head to the venue ahead of Comic-Con's launch on Wednesday evening.
"Please do not line up for Hall H, set-up is not complete. Read the complete line-up guidelines #SDCC #twilight," said the message.
Thousands of fans are expected to attempt to get into the Hall H panel on Thursday, but there are new rules being issued to fans who arrive early to secure spots in line before.
Camping is not allowed, chairs must be a "relatively normal size", no facilities or services will be available in the park and restroom access will only be available in Lobby G of the Convention Centre from 9pm to 7am each night starting Tuesday, July 10. This is a change from previous years when fans often arrived in advance with inflatable beds, tents and canopies.
