The fantasy adventure, Raimi's first movie since 2009's horror Drag Me to Hell, centres on the early years of L Frank Baum's iconic character the Wizard of Oz.
The film sees Raimi reunite with his Spider-Man star James Franco, who takes on the role of Oscar Diggs, a circus magician who's transported from Kansas to the Land of Oz.

Upon arrival he meets three witches - Theodora (Mila Kunis), Evanora (Rachel Weisz) and Glinda (Michelle Williams) - who doubt that he's a great wizard in waiting.
Oz's supporting cast includes Abigail Spencer, Zach Braff and Joey King.
Disney will release the movie on March 18, 2013.
