Pierce Brosnan has spoken about his disappointment at not being able to play James Bond in Casino Royale.
The actor believes that the latest film will be one of the most interesting in the series and is a fan of the Ian Fleming novel which the movie is based on.
"It's the blueprint of Bond's character, it's the one where Fleming really painted in the details of what Bond was about," the Daily Star quotes him as saying.
"I always wanted to go back and I was disappointed that it didn't happen but you can't go around with that in your heart."
