Visitors to the annual convention in San Diego were treated to a taster of the film at the end of Disney's panel on Thursday (July 12).
The trailer - around a minute in duration - was voiced by Tom Wilkinson, who delivers a monologue about the building of the railroads in 1860s America.
Johnny Depp is also seen as Tonto, speaking the words: "There comes a time, Kemosabe... when [a] good man must wear [a] mask."
The clip, which has not yet been made available online, also features Armie Hammer in the title role and Helena Bonham Carter.
Disney also debuted the first trailer for Oz: The Great and Powerful at Comic-Con, which continues until July 15 at the San Diego Convention Centre.
The Lone Ranger, which is currently still in production in New Mexico, is tipped to debut on July 3, 2013.
