'Thor 2', 'Captain America 2' titles revealed at Comic-Con 2012

Marvel Studios has revealed the full titles of the sequels to Thor and Captain America: The First Avenger.

President Kevin Feige announced at Comic-Con that the Avengers follow-ups will be called Thor: The Dark World and Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

The Thor sequel is scheduled for release on November 8, 2013, while the next Captain America instalment arrives on April 4, 2014.

Thor: The Dark World - to be directed by Game of Thrones' Alan Taylor - will involve "a major, major new antagonist".

Meanwhile, Captain America: Winter Soldier - helmed by Joe and Anthony Russo - will be the Marvel sequel "most closely associated with Avengers".

Also at Comic-Con, Marvel unveiled its plans for two new comic book movies - cosmic superhero film Guardians of the Galaxy and Edgar Wright's long-awaited Ant-Man project.
