Jackie Chan: 'I haven't retired from action movies'

Jackie Chan has denied that he plans to quit action films.

In May, the actor claimed that his new picture Chinese Zodiac would be his last action movie.



He said at the time: "Because action star's life is so short. Actor's life is very long. I want to show audiences I can act."

However, Chan clarified his comments at Comic-Con 2012 when asked about his previous statement.

"No, I still do action movies," Chan insisted.

Chan is set to return for the sequel to the 2010 remake of The Karate Kid, starring Jaden Smith.

However, he recently ruled out a return to the Rush Hour franchise.
