The actress is in discussions to reteam with the Fighter director on the project in a move that could see her starring opposite Jeremy Renner, claims The Hollywood Reporter.

Bourne Legacy star Renner was linked with the project earlier this week as a replacement for lead actor Christian Bale, who has dropped out of the venture.
The project, formerly titled American Bulls**t, is based on the true story of zealous FBI agent Jimmy Boyle, who Renner is in line to play.
Boyle arrested conman Mel Weinberg, who he then forced to enact a scam that ran through the '70s and '80s and saw several politicians arrested for their involvement in the dodgy dealings.
Bradley Cooper has already signed up to play the part of Weinberg.
Written by Eric Warren Singer, the film is scheduled to begin shooting in February 2013.
