20th Century Fox is negotiating to expand the short animated film Ruin.
Creator Wes Ball is in negotiations to allow his eight-minute movie to be turned into a feature film, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
McG (This Means War) is on board to produce the movie, with Ball directing and working with newcomer TS Nowlin on the script.
The video, which debuted on Vimeo in March, is set in a post-apocalyptic North American city that has been reclaimed by the wild.
It features a scavenger who is pursued by flying machines and escapes on his motorcycle.
Ruin is expected to be adapted into a live-action feature, with Fox considering it for a franchise.
