The studio announced that James Wan's supernatural thriller will arrive in cinemas on January 25 next year, Deadline reports.
Wan's next project is based on the supposedly true story of paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren, who travel to a secluded farmhouse to save its residents from a dark presence.
Patrick Wilson, Vera Farmiga, Ron Livingston and Lili Taylor will star in the movie, which is based on the memoirs of the investigators, but will deviate from the story due to rights issues.
Wan is best known for creating the Saw franchise, and also found success with last year's low budget horror offering Insidious.
The filmmaker is also reportedly working on a sequel to Insidious.
