Lee Daniels's follow-up to his Oscar-winning drama Precious stars Zac Efron, Nicole Kidman, John Cusack and Matthew McConaughey. Based on the novel by Peter Dexter, The Paperboy centres on a journalist who returns to his Florida hometown to investigate a death row inmate.
The Paperboy divided critics when it premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in May, with many highlighting a scene in which Kidman's character urinates on Efron to neutralise a jellyfish sting.

''Lee said, 'Look, we've got no money, you're going to have to do your own hair and make-up'," she explained.
'So I actually went into my bathroom and I got out the fake tan and put on fake eyelashes and got a hairpiece thing that was platinum, threw it all on and texted a photo to Lee in all these different provocative positions.
"That's how it came together. What he sent back I can't say, but it was a thumbs up."
The Paperboy opens in the US for a limited run on October 5 and has yet to receive a UK release date.
