The photo follows the latest full-length trailer for the film, which shows Bond appearing to fall to his death.
Craig returns for the third time as 007, which will see a figure from M's (Judi Dench) past return to haunt her after data containing the identity of MI6 agents is lost.
Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw and Bérénice Marlohe also co-star in Skyfall, which opens at cinemas and IMAX screens on October 26 in the UK and November 9 in the US.
