The thriller stars Ryder as a playwright who becomes plagued by nightmares and paranoid delusions, while simultaneously falling for her leading man (Franco).

Jay Anania (Day on Fire) directs, while Josh Hamilton, Marin Ireland and Katherine Waterston round out the supporting cast.
Ryder and Franco were also set to appear together alongside Michael Shannon in Ariel Vromen's true crime drama The Iceman, but Franco was replaced by Chris Evans.
No release date has yet been set for The Letter, although it is likely to debut on VOD in the US. Watch the trailer below:
