Jake Gyllenhaal and Michael Peña star in the red band trailer for End of Watch.
David Ayer's (Training Day) crime drama sees Gyllenhaal and Peña as two LAPD cops who get in over their heads after setting out to independently take down a drug organisation.
The story will reportedly be told through handheld footage taken from HD cameras operated by police officers, gang members and citizens caught in the line of fire.
Anna Kendrick, Natalie Martinez, America Ferrera, and David Harbour also star in the film, which was written and directed by Ayer.
End of Watch will be Gyllenhaal's first feature since 2011 sci-fi Source Code.

End of Watch will be released on September 21 in the US and November 23 in the UK.
