Jennifer Garner, Hugh Jackman in 'Butter' trailer - watch

Jennifer Garner and Hugh Jackman star in the trailer for upcoming comedy Butter.

The film centres on a young orphan (Yara Shahidi) who discovers her talent for butter carving, and finds herself in direct competition with the ambitious wife (Garner) of the current reigning champion of butter sculpture (Modern Family's Ty Burrell).


Olivia Wilde, Ashley Greene and Alicia Silverstone round out the cast of Butter, which is directed by She's Out of My League helmer Jim Field Smith.

Executive producer Harvey Weinstein has said that Garner's role is based on Sarah Palin.

Butter will be released in the US on October 5, with a UK release date yet to be set.
