A proposed new He-Man and the Masters of the Universe movie is now in serious doubt after a film studio pulled out of the project.
Speaking to Moviehole, Fox 2000's Rodney Ferrell stated: "[There] was a project set up at Fox, but in the recent months we gave the project back to Mattel and are no longer involved."
Toy manufactures Mattel own the rights to the He-Man character, which was part of a hugely popular cartoon series in the 1980's, and spawned the 1987 live-action film Masters of the Universe starring Dolph Lundgren and Courteney Cox.
