The James Bond actor has revealed that taking on such an iconic role was difficult for him as he previously appeared in low-profile, indie films.

Craig - who is to appear later this year in new Bond film Skyfall - said it has taken him some time to adjust to the new A-list way of life.
He told Esquire: "It threw me for a loop, quite honestly. It really f**king shook me up and made me look at the world in a different way. It changed my life."
He added: "It just confused the hell out of me. Fame and fortune, for want of a better expression, is f**king scary. My background is not well off. And there aren't many people you can ask for advice about dealing with that."
The 44-year-old, who is married to actress Rachel Weisz, also said that he enjoys buying nice things for himself but insisted that he is not over-indulgent.
He explained: "I couldn't find a lot of fun in fame. I'm not very materialistic. I mean, I love nice thinks, but I give a f**k what is going on in my head you know?"
Skyfall is released on October 26 in the UK and November 9 in the US.
