Ephron's Julie & Julia is to be shown as part of the Oscars Outdoors festival on September 7, organisers have confirmed.
The special screening will be held at the Academy Hollywood campus and include radio host Evan Kleiman moderating a discussion with Ephron's family and friends.
Ephron died in New York City in June following a long battle with acute myeloid leukaemia.
Her passing drew tributes from famous collaborators including Tom Hanks, Meg Ryan, Billy Crystal, Meryl Streep and Nicole Kidman.
The screenwriter-director is best known for penning the hit films When Harry Met Sally, Sleepless in Seattle and You've Got Mail.
She earned three Oscar nominations and won a BAFTA over the course of her career.
