Tommy Lee Jones has been named as a recipient of the Donostia Lifetime Achievement Award.

The Hollywood star will receive the accolade at the 60th San Sebastian International Film Festival.

Jones will be recognised for his work in Hollywood, which includes Coal Miner's Daughter, JFK, The Fugitive, No Country for Old Men and the upcoming Lincoln.

In 1993, Jones took home the 'Best Supporting Actor' Oscar for The Fugitive. He has been nominated for three Oscars.

Jones can be seen acting opposite another Oscar winner, Meryl Streep, in Hope Springs, which is out now in the US and releases on September 14 in the UK.

Jones and Streep play a couple who go through marriage counselling to help reignite their relationship.

"Tommy Lee is one of our greatest actors," Streep previously said of her co-star. "He's a national treasure. He's an icon of manhood. And he's someone that will make men unafraid to enter this territory."
