The Tolstoy adaptation - which is released in the UK next week (September 7) and on November 9 in the US - stars Keira Knightley, Jude Law and Aaron Taylor-Johnson.
Knightley plays Karenina, a wealthy aristocrat who is trapped in an unhappy marriage. To escape her husband, Count Alexei Karenin (Law), she embarks on a passionate love affair with Count Vronsky (Taylor-Johnson) that transforms her life.
The new posters show each of the three lead characters gazing pensively amid the swirling snow of Russia. The individual posters are also emblazoned with a single word that summarizes the characters' driving motive throughout the story; 'desire' (Karenina), 'honour' (Karenin) and 'passion' (Vronsky).
Knightley recently joked about Law's costume for the film, which involved a hairpiece designed to make him look bald.
"I'd get to the end of the day, take my make-up and wig off, and I'd look s**t," she explained.
"He'd take the make-up and wig off and look f**king brilliant. And everyone would say, 'Oh yeah! Good-looking man underneath!'"
