James Bond 50th anniversary online auction: 40 lots for sale

James Bond continues to celebrate its 50th anniversary with an online-only auction of memorabilia from the movies.

Forty lots are on offer via Christie's, including movie props, first edition Ian Fleming novels and rare posters.



A further ten lots will be auctioned at an invite-only evening event at Christie's South Kensington on October 5 - James Bond Day.

All proceeds from the auction will be donated to 12 charitable institutions.



Movie props available include Live and Let Die tarot cards and Scaramanga's golden bullet-clip belt from The Man with the Golden Gun.

Fans can browse the 50 Years of James Bond catalogue online now.



Lots are on exhibition at Christie's South Kensington from September 29 to October 4, with free admittance.

A printed collector's edition of the catalogue will be available for £30.
