Daniel Day Lewis's 'Lincoln' first look teaser debuts - watch

A first look Lincoln teaser trailer has been released.

The clip features Daniel Day Lewis as President Abraham Lincoln.



Actor David Oyelowo is heard reciting a piece from the famous Gettysburg Address over two scenes - one of war, and one of Lincoln himself.

The first full trailer will debut at a Google+ Hangout with director Steven Spielberg and actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt on Thursday (September 13).

The film charts Lincoln's final few months in office, as he attempted to unite his nation before his untimely death.

Sally Field, David Strathairn, James Spader, Hal Holbrook and Tommy Lee Jones will also feature in the movie.

Lincoln will be released in US theatres on November 9, 2012, and in the UK on January 25, 2013.
