Two TV spots for Argo have debuted.
The adverts reveal the plans of Ben Affleck's character in the actor's latest directorial movie.
The film is based on true events, and centres around CIA expert Tony Mendez (Affleck) and his attempts to rescue six American fugitives from Iran following the 1979 occupation of the US embassy in Tehran.
He hatches a plot to fly into the country disguised as a film crew and smuggle the six out.
The cast also includes Alan Arkin, Bryan Cranston, John Goodman, Kerry Bishe, Kyle Chandler, Rory Cochrane, Christopher Denham, Tate Donovan, Clea DuVall, Victor Garber, Zeljko Ivanek, Richard Kind, Scoot McNairy, Chris Messina, Michael Parks and Taylor Schilling.
Argo will be screened at the BFI London Film Festival.
The film will be released in the US on October 12 and in UK cinemas on November 7.
