Insiders have denied that there are plans for an extended version of Christopher Nolan's film, reports The Playlist.
Rumours have been circling that a new version containing 30 minutes of footage including Bane's origin story would be released in June, shortly before the Nolan-produced Man of Steel.
The concluding movie in the director's Batman trilogy is 165 minutes long.
Nolan has never previously included deleted scenes on his home movie releases, claiming that he prefers to save time and money by weeding out unnecessary scenes during the script development stage.
The Dark Knight Rises recently passed $600 million (£370 million) in overseas takings.
