"They actually want me to be in the movie," Bieber said.
The 18-year-old's girlfriend Selena Gomez has also been mentioned as a potential candidate for female lead Anastasia Steele, though she has said she has no interest in starring in the film.
Fifty Shades of Grey is currently in development at Universal Studios.
Bieber is gearing up for the launch of his upcoming 'Believe' world tour later in the month.
