'Good Night and Good Luck'
The actor and director said in an interview he was a fan of the Hindi films and hoped they would become more popular in the West.
Asked about appearing in one himself, he replied: "I'd love to. There are some filmmakers whose films, when you see, you say: That could be an interesting story to tell."
Speaking to US channel CNN-IBN he added: "I was watching a film the other day and the music was just amazing. It's become such a huge industry.
"There is a small market in the States as of now, but it will be fun if it catches on because it is such a positive way of looking at film making and I really love that. I truly think it's fun.
"It seems like the Indian filmmakers are pushing boundaries in terms of pushing the censors," he continued. "I think it's an interesting place for filmmakers to go."
