Speaking to Digital Spy, the Now Is Good star said that she is excited about the release of Breaking Dawn - Part 2 in November.
"Part of the excitement is that it's the last one," she said. "I know I'm excited for it just as a person in the movie and as a fan of the series."
Asked about the ongoing rumours of a Twilight remake once the Robert Pattinson/Kristen Stewart films are finished, Fanning said: "I don't know anything about that so I don't really know what to say. I don't know, I think the last film should probably come out first!
"Sometimes things are meant to be the way they are."
The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 opens in cinemas on November 16.
